Meet Winnie

My story

My name is Ose Winnie Aigbe, but I like to go by Winnie. I am a first-year BScN student in the compressed stream at Trent University. I made the pivot into nursing recently after completing a Bachelor’s in Human Physiology, a Master’s in Biomedical Science, and working in multiple diverse roles.

Some of my most meaningful experiences have been in long-term care and supporting vulnerable adults, where I learned the importance of empathy, patience, and human connection. I truly believe it is not a mistake that I am here. Nursing aligns with who I am, what I value, and how I naturally show up in the world. I know that I will grow into an amazing nurse, this is what I was made to do.

I'm dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of my patients through compassionate and skilled nursing care. I strive to be a source of comfort, healing, and empowerment for those in my care. My goal is to provide the best possible support and guidance.
